Art & Coffe - Bed & Breakfast

Who we are

The B&B experience is different from that of a hotel. A B&B is a private house hosting guests. The facilities might not be as comprehensive as those found in a hotel, but you will find the warmth and hospitality that only a home can give you.

My name is Giuseppe and what drove me to start this adventure is the pleasure of hosting and receiving guests. I think that when you are travelling it is nice to find people who open the doors to their home for you and are willing to share with you their knowledge and ideas. I like to help my guests to live my city to the full. This is the reason why I usually advise my guests about what to see, where to eat and where they can drink good wine. We might even enjoy a bottle together.

Until I get the opportunity to meet you, here is something about me:

I love travelling. I have travelled a lot in Italy and abroad and I like “on-the-road” travels - the mountains in summer and the sea in winter. I also like reading, walking in the mountains, and cooking (especially baking cakes!)

Our B&B is located in a 16th century building in the heart of Verona, on the first floor (with a lift), a few minutes away from all the main monuments in Verona. The double bedrooms are all furnished in Art Nouveau style, with coffee machine and kettle in the rooms, wifi in the whole house, bathroom robes and towels, and use of washing machine to be agreed upon.

The B&B consists of two double bedrooms with external but private bathrooms and two double bedrooms with shared bathroom.

All mattresses and pillows are made from memory foam. Savoury or sweet breakfast is included.

How to Reach Us

Since this is a family run B&B and we cannot be present all the time, on the day before your arrival please let us know via email or text (+39 348 8715120) at what time we should expect you, so that we can make sure we will be there to welcome you. Since our street is very small and not well known, when you look for us please ask for Via Quattro Spade, off of which we are based in a side street.

By train

From the train station, get on one of the following buses and get off at the 6th bus stop (Portoni Borsari - Via Diaz 2).

Once you get off the bus, walk through the Porta Borsari and take corso Portoni Borsari. Take the third street on your right (Via Quattro Spade), take the second alley on the right (Vicolo Cieco Agnello). The B&B’s main door is the first on the left, at number 1.
